Foundations of Algebra Information
This course has been developed to aid students in their transition to a rigorous integrated approach to mathematics found in the high school curriculum. Students will use a variety of resources in order to both re-mediate and reaffirm operations and skills found in Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics that are necessary for success at the high school level. Also, Coordinate Algebra material will be previewed throughout this course as a means of preparing students for their subsequent year of mathematics. The primary goal of this course is to serve as a bridge between the middle school and high school curriculum in order to better prepare students for the coursework in mathematics that lies ahead. Foundations of Algebra is taught by multiple teachers but we teach the same material on the same day and give the same tests.
